What’s in a name?

“He knows my name. He knows my every thought. He knows each tear that falls and He hears me when I call.”

I call Him Abba, Father. And He calls me by my first name…

Picture this. Mary came to the tomb on Easter Sunday only to find it empty. She was frantic and in tears looking for her Master. “Where have you taken Him”, she asked the man she perceived as the caretaker.
Then she hears her name called, “Mary”. Instantly, she recognized His voice, “Rabboni”.

So there you are my friends. There’s so much in a name. Your name has been chosen for you before the foundation of the world. It is who you are. It reflects your personality. My name is Nenita, it means “little baby girl”. I am Nenita…I live up to this name, I am God’s little one and I am loving it.

I covet your prayers….that I may continue to live up to His reputation. Abba, Father. Jesus, the Savior.

I am His and He is mine. His banner over me is love. Pray for me to always serve Him in love and humility.
