“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.”
More than fifteen years ago, God used a mission outreach across to Mexico to lead us back to the Philippines. The question had been asked by family and friends, both here and there, why we would leave the comforts of the West, when God calls, it is unmistakable that even the preparation of going into the field of missions is His doing. “Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For His sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ.”
Thank you for stopping in, my name is Rizty and along with my wife Nenita, we have gotten to know Jesus Christ more and be used of Him at His good pleasure these last 7 years. After being taught by the Holy Spirit throughPastor Chuck Smith, the Lord deemed it necessary to put the teaching we received into practice, which is in large part why we are where we are, in the Philippines. Nenita is an alumnus of Calvary Chapel Bible College in Murrieta Hot Springs, California and teaches passionately and tirelessly by my side. The reality of Colossians 1:28 is revealed daily to us. This is exemplified by these words when asked the Why we are in the mission field, “I’m going home to die!” were the words that came from Nenita‘s lips. Truly, more of Him, less of us.
“If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his own father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, yes, and even his own life, he cannot be My disciple.”
